Tantra, like a
development of early Hindu-Vedic thought, embraced the Hindu gods and
goddesses, particularly Shiva and Shakti together with the Advaita
attitude that every represents an aspect of the final word Para Shiva,
or Brahman These deities may be worshipped externally with flowers,
incense, and different choices, equivalent to singing and dancing.

because the deity, or experiencing the darshan (the vision) of this
