Bhramari differs from the usual mouth loud night breathing in that the lips are
closed and vibrations of the soft palate are induced solely by nasal airflow.
Follow mouth snoring first with a view to develop some voluntary control over
the palate vibration process. Nasal loud night breathing is more difficult.
Strategy control attempts gradually. The soft palate should be lifted towards
the top of the pharynx sufficiently to produced flutter which can be very
onerous to control. The sound produced is often described as being just like the
buzzing of a bee. Though, in Bhramari, one breathes each out and in via each
nostrils and produces a loud night breathing, buzzing or buzzing sound in each
