This card, despite what is commonly portrayed on tv and in motion
pictures, would not signify bodily death. Instead, the Demise card
exhibits us that there is perpetual transformation, one facet of which
is the cycle of delivery-life-dying-rebirth. It is a card of change and
restoration.
