card - The Tower
The Tower stands excessive over a mountaintop, fabricated from
ambition and built on false ideas. Lightning blazes down through the
sky, destroying the highest on the tower and anything that is evil.
Falling drops of sunshine signify the descent of the life power into the
fabric plane. A man and lady fall through the tower, plummeting in the
direction of earth, leaving their world of material safety after a
blazing glimpse of truth itself. This card is usually associated with
Lucifer's fall from grace, and with the autumn of the dominion of Satan.
The crumbling on the tower reminds us that if we use our information and
presents for evil purposes, then destruction might be wrought upon us by
the powers above.
When the Tower appears in a Tarot studying, it indicates huge
adjustments, battle and catastrophe. Not solely that, however there will
likely be an overthrow of current ways of life -- look for someone whose
world is about to change dramatically, and have been their world fully
disrupted. Nevertheless, with destruction comes enlightenment,
displaying us that in the end, selfish ambition and greed deliver us
nothing of value.
A reversed Tower card reveals that freedom of mind and spirit might
be attained, but only at an incredible cost. This card could indicate
someone hoping to interrupt freed from an abusive relationship, or leave
a probably disastrous job circumstances. This is the cardboard of
oppression and false custody.
