Tarot
card- The Fool
The Fool is an oddity within the Main Arcana, as a result of in
contrast to his compatriots, he is numberless, and represented by a
zero. In medieval instances, the Idiot was often known as a jester, an
harmless in the eyes of the gods, and as such he may get away with
saying all types of inappropriate things. In truth, the Fool can say or
do as he chooses. The Fool is traditionally portrayed as a younger man,
often a bit on the androgynous side. Within the Rider Waite deck, he's a
courtly and nearly foppish young man in a tunic and tights, making ready
to set out on a journey. He seems exquisitely happy, virtually as though
he's daydreaming, and but does not appear to note that he's about to
step off a cliff.
In truth, when the Idiot comes up in a Tarot reading, it's a sure
sign that a new journey or journey is about to begin. The Fool signifies
a time of massive modifications, and large adventure. The Idiot is the
agent of fortune, and despite the potential dangers or unknown that lies
ahead, it's value it to observe one's coronary heart and settle for the
new changes.
When reversed, the Idiot indicates a bent to "look earlier than you
leap". Suppose earlier than you act, and settle for that a lack of
attention to detail may lead to pricey errors
