A tincture is usually a liquid natural extract made by soaking herbs
in solvents resembling pure grain alcohol, which helps extract the
energetic elements from the herbs. The liquid is then pressed out and
also the herbs discarded. A tincture could be made of 1 herb or a
mixture of herbs.
Although natural tinctures with grain alcohol are commonest, some
manufacturers remove the alcohol and add glycerin to make the tincture
alcohol-free. Natural tinctures are bought in well being-meals shops,
some drug and grocery stores, and online.
