Binsar Mahadev Temple (mandir)
Binsar Mahadev
temple (mandir) is located at an altitude of two,480 meters ASL. It is about 22
km from Thalisain. Binsar Mahadev temple is known for its archeological
significance, being an ancient development of 9th century. It's supposed to be
created in only one day. Although the temple (mandir) is dedicated to Lord
Shiva, the sanctum additionally homes idols of Lord Ganesh and Goddesses Parvati
and Durga.
This Temple was constructed by King Kalyan Chand of Chand Dynasty.
